Admission in 3 easy steps
We are a unique school, and so are our students. The ones seeking to join our family have to fulfil
the necessary academic grades, but simultaneously have to be as different as everyone in the school
is. We give the students an opportunity to democratically take decisions, and the intellect to
question and reason. So the admission procedure for our school involves multiple steps:
1 Identification of Seats
- We identify the seats vacant in each class. The maximum strength, we reach, for each class is 25- 30. We provide ample space for the child to grow, rather than just filling up classrooms.
- Then we announce admissions open for the classes concerned with filling up the gap.
- The number of forms given out is 5 more than the required admissions, as we undergo an intense admission test procedure and have limited seats.
2 Entrance Exam
- After this we announce for the entrance test dates, which is usually on Saturdays or Sundays, to ensure unhindered functioning of normal school.
- All prospective candidates come and write down their test, question papers of which are pre-set by expert faculty members for each class for subjects of English, Hindi, Science and Mathematics.
- The students are assessed on the basis of written as well as interactive skills. They are marked on the worksheets assigned for them and also go through a thorough oral session with subjective teachers.
- The marks scored and their feedback is then shared on a feedback form, with the Principal.
- Interaction with parents is an integral part of the admission procedure
- On the basis of their scores and presentation, the student is either selected or not selected for admission. We try and promote female education, and this is why the first preference is given to the girls.
3 Final Admission
- The ratio of admitted students is usually won by the girls.
- We try and give an opportunity to maximum students, to come and join our institution in the junior classes. But admission procedure is more rigid and strict in the senior section of the school.
- We follow the norms set for admission according to NEP 2020, our students are admitted into the Nursery class at the age of 3, so they would be in grade 12 by the time they are 18 years old
